Our pre-press department is Mac based, yet can also accommodate PC needs. Plates are produced from one of our new state of the art computer-to-plate systems. We do color separations in-house along with typesetting and design.

Electronic Pre-Press Services Westendorf Printing is a Cross Platform based printing facility using an Adobe Postscript Level 3 RIP combined with a Xenith Extreme Certified PDF pre-press workflow to image files Direct-to-Plate. (2) Mitsubishi a2500 Violet CTP Plate-setting device with an Eco RF CTP in-line processor. (2) Epson Stylus Pro 7600 7-color Ultrachrome ink-jet digital printers; outputs 24" x 26+" digital proofs (1) Xante CL-30 digital color printer; output capability of up to 13" x 19" at 1200 dpi on paper. (1) HP 4MV laser printer; outputs up to 11" x 17" at 600 dpi on paper. (1) Proactive Technologies AMD Opteron 1400MHz Master Server with 1.2TB Storage Capacity and 2.1GB RAM. (1) Hewlett Packard tc4100 server with 3-80GB parity drives and 2.1Gb RAM. (1) Genesis Raid 5 Server with 7-60GB parity drives. (2) Hewlett Packard Pentium 4, 1-bit tif print servers. (1) PowerMac G5 1.8GIG/dual processor workstation, 1.25 GB RAM with 24 bit accelerated video, 80 gig hard drive, w/Superdrive DVD writer with Dell 19" Flat Panel Monitor.
